The provisions relating to our Privacy Policy govern your relationship with the Spider Golf mobile applications and the Website https://www.spidergolf.fr/en-home (together, the “Service(s)” or the “Site”) managed by Spider Golf (« we », « us », and « our »), and more generally all the services or products offered by SpiderGolf regardless of their media.
The terms “we”, “us” or “SpiderGolf” refer to SPIDER GOLF SAS, a company with a share capital of 5000€, registered in Nanterre under RCS n°830 836 425, with its headquarters located 30 AVENUE DU BOIS DE LA MARCHE, 92420 VAUCRESSON, FRANCE.
In accordance with the new European General Data Protection Regulation (« GDPR »), we have updated our privacy policy which explains how we collect, use, communicate, transfer and store information about you.
We process your data only for the purposes described in this document. We will only collect the information we need to provide our Services to our users and pursue our legitimate interests.
We would like your confirmation to maintain your information in our database and thus allowing you to continue to benefit from our Services.

Why do we collect your personal data ?
SpiderGolf is:
- mobile applications free or payable for download and executable from the iOS10 operating system of your smartphone or tablet, and (soon) from the Android system.
- a website accessible at https://www.spidergolf.fr/en-home
- Coaches and players dashboards https://dashboard.spidergolf.fr/login
We therefore invite you, before registering on our Site, to consult the privacy policy of your platform and, if applicable, of your browser.
SpiderGolf and Spider Putt are statistical Golf applications aimed at amateur and professional golfers whose wish is to improve your golf game.
Among other things, it allows you to capture all the strokes you make on your golf course and to obtain game statistics.
It also allows you to share your game data and statistics (“DATA”) with other players using SpiderGolf and Spider Putt.
Information relating to your profile (surname – first name), your game data and your statistics can thus be communicated to other members of our Service, in particular on our « LeaderBoard », which organizes the ranking of the best players using SpiderGolf and Spider Putt.
One of its functionalities is reserved for coaches, who will use SpiderGolf and Spider Putt for the benefit of their students, and to whom your DATA will be transmitted for an exclusively educational and statistical purpose and with your exclusive prior agreement.
We will therefore mainly use your personal data and your game statistics (« DATA ») in order to perform the services offered by our Site, but the data collected is also:
- To manage, perform and optimize our services;
- To promote them for advertising or marketing purposes;
- To carry out operations related to the management of our commercial relations
- For the improvement of our products and services by inviting you to participate in surveys, studies, satisfaction inquiries;
- For commercial prospecting in order to contact you
- For sending personalized information and newsletters on our products and services and their development, or on our news: the newsletters we send you are directly linked to your registration and this information is an integral part thereof. If you choose to unsubscribe from these newsletters, by contacting our customer service, the partial performance of our binding contract cannot be opposed to us;
- For the characterization of customer profiles and the analysis of your preferences in a marketing analysis process;
- For the management of requests for the right of access, rectification and opposition;
- For the calculation of the references used in the player and coach tables (Dashboards) and the “Applications” platform.
Your personal data are therefore collected either on the basis of your consent, or because it is necessary for the performance of the services offered by our Site, or in the legitimate interest of SpiderGolf and Spider Putt, which offers a certain number of free functionalities outside subscriptions.
What personal data do we collect
Access to our Services is subject to the creation of an account, under the conditions detailed in the General Conditions(hereinafter the “Account”). This Account can be linked to a subscription, a free trial, or a subscription allowing access to its free features. The creation of an Account requires the communication of the following information, in order to be able to verify your identity, allow your access to the Site and secure this access.
The personal data provided:
- On a mandatory basis:
– Surname and first name
– Password (stored in an encrypted and secured way)
- On an optional basis:
– Date of birth
– Right/Left handed
Other data potentially collected:
– Preferred starter tee (man or woman)
– Game status (amateur, pro, coach)
– Ranking
– Country
– Right-handed / Left-handed
– Favorite club brand
– Preferred sportswear brand
– Preferred ball brand
You also have the option to upload photos on your user profile within the app.
No so-called « sensitive » data within the meaning of the regulations in force is collected.
In addition, when you access our Services, we may also collect the following information, automatically transmitted by your Internet browser:
- The operating system of your terminal (Windows, Mac, Android, iOS, etc.);
- The Internet browser used and its language of use;
- Your IP address;
- The time at which the visit was made;
- Technical information on your type of terminal (computer, smartphone, etc.);
- If applicable, the website which redirected you to SpiderGolf.
This information is automatically collected and is kept by our hosting provider OVH, for a period defined in accordance with its conditions of use and of confidentiality.
We also collect all the data that you communicate to us through the use of the various forms that may be present on the site (contact, test, etc.). This personal data is processed in order to receive your message and to be able to reply to you.
In addition, we may use third-party services such as Google Analytics which collect, monitor and analyze this type of information in order to increase the functionality of our Service. These third party service providers have their own privacy policies which deal with how they use this information.

Privacy of minors
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 15. If you are a parent or guardian and you know that your children have provided us with personal information, please contact us. When we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 15 without verifying parental consent, we take measures to delete that information from our servers.
What are your rights regarding personal data
You have a right to access, rectify and erase personal data concerning you, as well as a right to limit the processing and the portability of your data. You also have the right to oppose for legitimate reasons to the processing of your personal data as well as the right to oppose to the processing of your data for prospecting purposes.

Who will be the recipients of your personal data
Your Personal Data and your DATA can be transmitted to the following third parties:
Members: the other SpiderGolf and Spider Putt Members (« Players ») have access to your personal data as well as your game data (handicap, results and statistics of your courses and games);
- if you appear in the ranking of the 50 best players of SpiderGolf
- if you share them with the community of other Players
If you are a student whose Coach uses SpiderGolf and Spider Putt, your personal data will be communicated to him with your express consent.
Service providers: SpiderGolf may be required to transmit your Personal Data with third parties who provide certain services on its behalf, such as external providers, including for hosting and maintenance of data, analyzes, assistance with customer, payment processing and security operations. We follow a rigorous screening process before hiring any service provider or working with any partner. All of our service providers and partners must comply with strict confidentiality obligations.
The recipients of your Personal Data are carefully selected by SpiderGolf and are required to implement a Personal Data policy that meets its requirements. SpiderGolf ensures compliance with these requirements through contracts and other measures, so that your Personal Data is not processed for purposes other than those set out herein, including for advertising purposes.
Our suppliers are currently the following: OVH – AMAZON WEB SERVICE and various service providers requested for the development of our Services
Affiliated partners: We may also be required to communicate your Personal data and your Data to partners affiliated with our Site, legally linked to SpiderGolf and selected according to their relevance and the quality of the services they can provide you regarding the Golf. For example, if a Player requests a service as part of a partnership or a promotional offer offered by a third party, SpiderGolf may share certain data with these partners for prospecting and commercial offers.
Where is your personal data stored, and is it secured ?
Your personal data is stored either in our databases or in those of our service providers (OVH and Amazon Web Services), which are located within the European Union.
We attach great importance to data security and confidentiality.
We have implemented internal technical and organizational measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of your data. Only people who can demonstrate a legitimate reason can access the personal data we have. We also minimize the data that we send to our various providers in order to send them only the data truly necessary for their activity.
On the site, we manage your payment information with the help of our partners « STRIPE » and « PAY PAL », according to methods that meet industry standards (such as « PCI DSS » / Payment Card Industry Data Security System).
Is your data transferred outside the European Union ?
SpiderGolf may, if necessary, transfer its personal data to a third country subject to an adequacy decision made by the European Commission, being specified that, in the presence of a transfer to a country not subject of an adequacy decision, then this transfer can only be done subject to the condition that the appropriate safeguards are in place and that you have effective rights and effective remedies.
Prior to the transfer outside the European Union, and in accordance with the regulations in force, SpiderGolf implements all the procedures required to obtain the guarantees necessary to secure such transfers.

For how long is your personal data kept ?
Your personal data is kept for a period which does not exceed the time necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
Thus, your data will be kept for the duration of our contractual relationship and in archive for a maximum period of THREE (3) years following the end of the said contractual relationship.
